Zensky BMX has been around for a very long time. I started this website about 6 years ago I think. I have started to go back through the old picture galleries and repost some of the old stuff. It’s got some vintage Zensky riders that no longer ride, tons of locals before they were pros and pros before they retired. Lots of really good stuff in there so just check it out and browse through. Although these picture galleries are old there will be plenty of new galleries going up soon.

Oh, and the galleries may be experiencing a little bit of technical difficulties right now so if you are having trouble viewing a certain photo set please let me know in the comments section. Thanks!

As you may know Zensky BMX isn’t just about the Gainesville scene but about all of North Florida. A couple times a month we’ll go down to Ocala, sometimes they’ll come here, and trips to Mesh in Orlando and the rails of Tallahassee are common.

I remember when I first started going to Ocala about 7 or 8 years ago. We were so terrible but we were still the best kids there. Well since then the Ocalaens have really stepped up to the plate and have formed Team Wild Style. Joel, Scotty, Addison, Tyler, Cody and several other fools are putting down the moves and you’ll see all their hottest shit right here on Zensky BMX.

Me, Ben, the Matts, Steven and Cory went across the street for a little ledge session yesterday. We rode a bit more after this but the camera died. Good thing Ben knocks the bangers out fast. Also, peep the hottest new trick to hit the bmx scene, the “Air Brake”:

Not too long ago a few of us filmed for a 48 hour video contest. The original video was about 12 minutes long but I’ve cut some of the bangers together for a shorter video. The quality is pretty bad because I did a poor job of ripping the file from the DVD, configuring Premiere, and encoding, uploading etc. As you know the more times a video is recompressed the worse it gets. It’s still a pretty fun video, though. Let me know what you think. Oh, and once again, if you have Internet Explorer, you can watch the video on vimeo.com. Enjoy!

I wanted to make an edit for the site, so I used some of the footage from when I first got my camera. A lot of the colors are washed out and the filming could of been better but bear with me. Most of the riding took place in Gainesville and some in Tallahassee as well as a clip from Sarasota. The riders are mostly Gainesville locals with a few special appearances from Dustin Luckenbill, Morgan Alley and Brad Campo. Hope you enjoy and there will be definitely more to come

This weekend we gathered up some grungy bmxers for a nice load of manual labor. We loaded up a 16 foot wide x 6 foot tall quarter pipe, a 4 foot wide box jump lip, a load of plywood, 2×4s and crates, and a ton of rocks for good measure. Everyone was a trooper and we got a lot of work done. We put the new quarterpipe behind the subbox to give the course some flow, and built a nice wedge to wall which you can see at the right. It still needs some work but the forced consolidation of our spots may not be such a bad thing after all. We should be getting some good pictures and videos out of this place shortly.
